The only reason I bought it was because it claimed to have 8M memory. Now I’m not sure if this is the case with other scopes, this is the first DSO I have, but when you set the memory to 8M, you can’t get full sampling speed. You are limited to 40k memory at 1GSPS.

Connect to any voltage source – I used the probe compensation source. Set the trigger to half the voltage – or use the auto-set. Now adjust the volts per division. Does the trigger drop?
