WebNov 18, 2024 · When aligning the cartridge using an Arc Protractor to Jelco's Specs for the TK-850S (9" arm) which is essentially the same as Bearwald, the stylus is 54mm from the back of the washer to the stylus tip which results in 18mm overhang. The OLD Jelco arms used 52mm from the washer to the stylus tip which resulted in an overhang of 15mm.

WebApr 10, 2024 · Up for sale is a Jelco TK-850S 9” tonearm. Tonearm has been extremely well taken care of, in near mint overall cosmetic condition and perfect working order. Other than the marks on the arm shaft where the set screw locks and the screw head marks on the mounting base, the rest of the tonearm is in mint condition. For some reason the 850S consistently wants about 50% more anti-skate than the 750D using the SS method. My 2.0g VTF carts are requiring anti-skate of around 3.0 on the 850S. Accordingly, I would imagine a Cadenza Blue on my 850S would require more AS than the arm offers, yeah.
